The grand opening weekend of Temple Denver heats up with the announcement of MAKJ on Nov. 4. This highly anticipated event will be the beginning of the reign of Temple as Denver’s premier nightclub.
The Temple brand comes from San Francisco and has over a decade of experience in offering a fully immersive nightclub experience with world-class production to gawk over. Look forward to wowing floor to ceiling lighting and Funktion One sound system for all you bass lovers.
MAKJ has been mixing and DJing since he purchased his first turntables at age 15. Now at age 27, he has had multiple tracks on the iTunes Top 10 in Dance Music and was on DJ Mag’s Top 100 two years in a row.
His real name is Mackenzie Johnson and he stays busy creating electro house tracks that have been released on major labels from Spinnin’ Records to Ultra Records. He has done collabs with artists like Lil Jon and Hardwell and even took scratch lessons from DJ AM.
This California based producer made us all laugh with his music video for “Party Till We Die” featuring two grandparents crashing a rowdy MAKJ party. They sneak out of their senior home and join the chaos with body shots and kegs.
MAKJ will bring the “Party Till We Die” vibe for a hyphy night on the brand new Temple dance floor this Saturday, Nov. 4.
